Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra has passed away in Mumbai at the age of 89. Earlier this month, the actor had been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for health concerns. He was later discharged, and his family shared that he was recovering at home. Fans were hopeful as updates suggested he was slowly getting better.
However, on the afternoon of November 24, an ambulance was seen leaving his residence, creating worry among neighbours and fans. Soon after, several well-known celebrities were spotted arriving at the Juhu crematorium, adding to the concerns about his condition.
Although Dharmendra’s family has not yet released an official statement, filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed the sad news by posting about the actor’s demise on social media.
Dharmendra, known for his iconic roles in films like Sholay, Phool Aur Patthar, and Chupke Chupke, was one of Hindi cinema’s most loved and respected stars. His contribution to Indian cinema spans decades, and he is remembered for his charm, action roles, and warm personality.
