Nazar is so Real! “I Bought My New House”, was the Last Post of Ducky Bhai on Instagram

In August 2025, Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, shared a joyful Instagram post: “Proof that hard work pays off, I bought my dream house.”

The photo showed him beaming in front of a lavish 10-crore-rupee mansion, complete with grand chandeliers and wide lawns. Fans flooded the comments with cheers, seeing it as a win for grit and hustle. His YouTube vlog on the purchase racked up millions of views, inspiring many to chase their goals.

But just weeks later, on August 17, authorities arrested him at Lahore Airport for promoting illegal gambling apps like Binomo on his channel. His assets, including the “new” house, later revealed as rented, were seized. He spent months in jail before bail on November 24.

This quick shift from peak joy to deep trouble has sparked talk of “nazar,” a belief in many cultures, including South Asian ones, that envy or praise can invite bad luck. In Pakistan, where 70% believe in nazar per local surveys, folks use amulets or prayers to shield blessings. Ducky’s story fits his boastful post may have drawn unseen negativity, turning success sour.

The arrest exposed bigger issues, like corruption in cyber agencies, with officials jailed for bribes. Yet, for fans, this is a debatable news that life flips fast, sometimes loud shows attract evil eyes.
