Police Register Case Against Bahawalpur Spa Centre For Playing Naseebo Lal Song on Speaker

Police in Bahawalpur have registered a case against a massage centre for playing a song by popular Pakistani singer Naseebo Lal loudly on speakers. The incident has drawn attention to noise violation laws and illegal activities in the city.

The incident took place at “Touch Spa” where the song “Manji Ak Te Jawaniyan Do” was played loudly on a speaker. The loud music attracted the attention of local residents who complained to authorities about the disturbance.

However, when police arrived at the location, they discovered more serious problems. Police found that illegal activities, were taking place at the center under the guise of providing massage services.

Upon arrival, police found two individuals playing the song on a speaker in the window. One suspect managed to escape before police could arrest him, but investigations are ongoing to locate the fugitive.

The case has been registered under the Punjab Sound System Act, which was introduced in 2015 to regulate the use of loud music and sound systems in public spaces. The law aims to prevent public disturbances and maintain peace in residential areas.

Under this law, offenders can face penalties including fines ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 100,000 and imprisonment for up to six months. Authorities can also seize sound equipment used in violations.

This is not the first time someone has faced legal action for playing Naseebo Lal’s songs in public. Similar incidents have occurred in other Punjab cities, where people were booked for playing her music at high volume on rickshaws and in cars.

Police officials have stated that they will not tolerate any breach of the law related to public noise and illegal activities operating under the cover of legitimate businesses.
