In a big update from Pakistan, former Prime Minister Imran Khan is doing well. His sister, Uzma Khanum, met him in Adiala Jail on December 2, 2025, and said his health is perfectly fine. This news has calmed worried supporters who feared for his safety.
Uzma spoke to the media after a short 30-minute meeting. She arrived at the jail with many Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers. They waited outside while she went in. “Imran Khan’s health is perfectly fine,” she said clearly. But she added that he is very upset about mental torture in jail. He blames Army Chief Asim Munir for keeping him locked up and not letting him out of his room.
Rumors had spread fast on social media. Some even said Khan was dead or very sick. His son, Kasim Khan, asked for proof of life on X. No one from his family or PTI leaders could visit him for weeks, since late October. This broke court rules and led to big protests.
PTI held rallies outside the Islamabad High Court and Adiala Jail. They demanded free visits for family. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi sat in protest many times but was turned away. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan raised alarms about his jail conditions.
Khan has been in jail since August 2023 on many cases. PTI says the government is unfair. Uzma’s visit is a small win, but they want more open access.
Supporters feel relieved but still fight for his release. This story shows how much people love their leader. Pakistani politics stays full of twists.
