Renowned Islamic Scholar Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi Passed Away

Renowned Islamic scholar and spiritual guide Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi Mujaddidi passed away on December 14 at the age of 72. His death has caused deep sorrow among scholars, students, and followers across Pakistan and around the world.

Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad was born on April 1, 1953, in Jhang, Punjab. From an early age, he showed a strong interest in Islamic knowledge and spiritual learning. He later became a leading figure of the Naqshbandi Mujaddidi order, a respected Sufi path that focuses on inner reform, discipline, and closeness to Allah.

He was the founder of Jamia Mahad ul Faqir al Islami in Jhang, an institution dedicated to Islamic education, tasawwuf, and character building. Through this center, he guided thousands of students toward a life based on faith, humility, and moral values. His teachings stressed self-purification, honesty, patience, and service to humanity.

Maulana Zulfiqar Ahmad Naqshbandi was also well known for his lectures, which were widely shared on YouTube and other digital platforms. These talks reached millions of people and helped spread his message far beyond Pakistan.

According to close sources, he had been suffering from a kidney-related illness for some time. News of his passing led to an outpouring of grief on social media, with many people sharing prayers and messages of respect.

Tributes continue to come in from religious scholars, spiritual students, and admirers worldwide. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon. His passing marks the end of a life devoted to faith, guidance, and spiritual reform.
