Pure Faith! Pakistani Couple Travels 6,290 Km From Lahore to Perform Umrah on Motorbikes

A Pakistani couple aged 62 and 54 set a remarkable record by traveling 6,290 kilometers one way from Lahore to the holy city of Madinah on their motorcycle to perform Umrah Daily Pakistan. The extraordinary journey, titled “Umrah on the Bike,” demonstrates unwavering faith and determination.

The couple had been planning this spiritual adventure for two years before finally embarking on their journey on October 19, 2024, accompanied by one other companion. Their route took them through some of the most challenging terrains: Lahore to Quetta, then through Iran, the UAE, and finally Saudi Arabia.

In Iran, they passed through Zahedan, Bam, Jiroft, Kanouj, and Bandar Abbas, covering the journey in four nights. The couple faced severe challenges along the way. Between Zahedan and Bam, they encountered a harsh sandstorm with crosswinds so powerful that their motorcycle fell twice while standing beside the road.

Despite the difficulties, the journey was filled with heartwarming moments. The Iranian people showed extraordinary hospitality, refusing to accept money for fuel at three different cities and insisting the couple were their guests. This generosity deeply moved the travelers and made their challenging journey more bearable.

The couple emphasized that achieving any goal requires extra effort, strong courage, and top-level commitment, stating that some journeys are done for Allah and nothing reaches completion without His help.

Their inspiring story joins other Pakistani motorcyclists who have undertaken similar faith-driven journeys, proving that devotion knows no age limits or obstacles when the destination is the House of Allah.
