“Shaitan Ki Gaddi”: Haris Khokhar’s Explosive Dig at Fiza Ali

Pakistani Ramzan transmissions are known for drama, but this year one show crossed a line that many people could not ignore — and now the backlash has arrived in the loudest possible way.

The controversy first made headlines in the early days of Ramzan when host Fiza Ali mentioned Dr Nabiha Ali Khan’s marital life during her Ramzan transmission and referred to their separation, which sparked significant uproar on social media.

Dr Nabiha Ali Khan bravely opened up about her deteriorating marriage on the show, accusing her husband, Haris Khokhar, and his family of emotional torture and interference. In a dramatic moment, Fiza Ali was visibly moved, shedding tears and passionately scolding Haris Khokhar for his alleged behaviour.

The situation intensified further when an alleged audio recording from a commercial break during the show went viral, with voices appearing to laugh and suggest the crying scene was staged purely for ratings, sparking accusations that the entire emotional breakdown was scripted for TRP.

Despite all the public drama, Dr Nabiha and Haris Khokhar eventually reconciled, with the couple later seen dining together, having chosen to give their relationship another chance

However, Haris Khokhar did not stay quiet about Fiza Ali’s role in all of this. In a viral TikTok interview, he controversially labelled Fiza Ali the “successor of the devil,” saying that in Ramzan, Fiza Ali had taken over the devil’s throne.

He said that when private matters between a husband and wife are brought onto digital or social media platforms, the situation becomes far more complicated and divorces tend to escalate when they become topics of public debate. He also confirmed that he only responded publicly after Fiza Ali mentioned his name on television first.

Some social media users alleged that the issue was raised merely to boost the ratings of the Ramzan transmission, a claim that has left many viewers questioning the ethics of morning show culture in Pakistan.
