Pakistani digital creator and TikTok star Kanwal Aftab has once again made headlines, this time for completing her sixth Umrah trip and then responding openly to those who questioned whether her wealth gives her an unfair advantage in performing the pilgrimage.
Kanwal Aftab and Zulqarnain Sikandar are among Pakistan’s most followed digital creators. In March 2025, the couple performed Umrah together, and during Ramzan 2026, they were once again in Saudi Arabia with their families to perform the pilgrimage. Their repeated visits sparked debate online.
Responding to the criticism, Kanwal said: “People are saying you don’t receive Allah’s invitation by luck alone, it’s because of your money that you perform Umrah frequently. But the reality is different. I have seen people far richer than us who never come for Umrah.”
Her response struck a deep chord with millions of followers. The couple’s Umrah photos from 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026 show how their spiritual journey has grown year by year, first as a young couple, then with their newborn, and now with a growing family.
Kanwal Aftab and Zulqarnain Sikandar are two of the most popular TikTok stars in Pakistan. They got married in April 2021 and have a daughter named Aizal. During their Umrah trips, the couple looks peaceful and happy, and their photos have always gone viral with fans praising their devotion.
In Islam, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that Umrah during Ramadan is equal in reward to Hajj. Kanwal’s repeated visits during the holy month reflect a deep personal commitment to faith that goes beyond fame or followers.
