Karachi Airport Shown in “Meri Zindagi Hai Tu” Sparking a Buzz!

Pakistan’s biggest drama of 2025-26, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, stirred up a fresh wave of online discussion after its finale featured scenes set at the Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, with viewers hotly debating whether the airport visuals were real or AI-generated.

In the final moments of the drama, Ayra was seen bidding farewell to her family at the Karachi airport as she planned to settle abroad. As she sat in the aircraft, Ayra received a letter addressed to Mrs. Kamyar. Kamyar then appeared and sat in the aisle seat, leading to a dramatic and emotional reunion.

The airport scene quickly divided viewers online. Many social media users flooded comment sections calling the backdrop “AI-generated,” “only in dreams,” and “fake picture ha,” pointing out that the airport in the scene appeared too clean, too modern, and too polished to be the real Jinnah International Airport that Pakistanis know. Others humorously suggested: “Ab karden renovation”.

Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is a 2025-26 Pakistani romantic drama television series, produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib, starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Hania Aamir. The show garnered over 600 million YouTube views by January 2026, with episodes attracting around 12 million views each.

The drama wrapped up with a heartfelt happy ending on the second day of Eid ul Fitr 2026, March 22, with Ayra and Kamyar finally united.

The airport controversy added yet another fun and memorable talking point to a drama that kept Pakistan, and much of the world, glued to screens throughout its entire run.
