Pakistani YouTuber and content creator Rajab Butt found himself at the center of a hilarious online storm this Eid ul Fitr 2026 after he mimicked Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s iconic balcony wave, in front of just seven to eight fans gathered outside his home.
In one of his Eid vlogs, Rajab Butt waved to his fans from the balcony in the same style as Salman Khan, mimicking the way the Bollywood actor waves to his fans every year on Eid ul Fitr.
Salman Khan’s Eid balcony appearance at Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai has become one of Bollywood’s most beloved traditions, drawing thousands of devoted fans who gather in the streets below just for a glimpse of their star. Rajab clearly tried to recreate that same magic, but the internet was not going to let it slide.
Rajab Butt’s balcony appearance was mocked by social media users. “He can’t come near Salman Khan’s stature by any means; Salman Khan achieved this success after struggles,” one wrote. Another wrote, “Even Temu’s version of Salman Khan would be better than him.”
Someone else asked, “Does he even have fans? But where are the people he is waving to? I see very few paid ones.” Another added, “Don’t compare Salman Khan to him; he is the Salman Khan of the Fitna family.”
The stunt came at a particularly bad time for Rajab, who is already locked in a very public feud with Zulqarnain Sikandar and Kanwal Aftab. For many viewers, the balcony video only added fuel to the fire, making him the butt of Eid’s biggest online joke, and giving the term “Temu product” a whole new meaning in Pakistan’s digital landscape.
