Hamza Ali Abbasi Issues Disclaimer: “I Have No Involvement in This Matter”

Pakistani superstar Hamza Ali Abbasi was forced to issue a public disclaimer on March 28, 2026, after his name became entangled in media coverage surrounding a massive money laundering case involving his sister, renowned aesthetician Dr. Fazeela Abbasi.

In a statement shared on social media, Hamza made it clear that he is not part of the case in any capacity and is not under investigation by any authority. He emphasized that his sister is an independent professional with her own established career and that her legal matters are entirely separate from him. He expressed support for his sister during the ongoing proceedings, stating full confidence in her integrity and urging that her side of the story be heard.

The case against Dr. Fazeela centers on alleged financial irregularities. According to the FIR, around Rs25 billion was allegedly traced through 22 bank accounts linked to her, with investigators claiming some transactions were routed to Dubai and the United States.

The development comes as legal proceedings against Dr. Fazeela continue. The Islamabad High Court rejected petitions seeking to dismiss the money laundering case. A special central court in Islamabad declined to extend her pre-arrest bail, prompting the FIA to form teams for her arrest.

The actor also warned that any attempt to link him to the case could result in legal action from his side.

Hamza and his sister are both prominent public figures in Pakistan, with the actor regarded as one of the country’s best-known stars, while Dr. Fazeela is considered a leading name in aesthetic medicine.

The unfolding case has shaken their highly respected family image, and all eyes remain on how the legal proceedings will develop in the days ahead.
