Pakistani actress and social media star Aiman Zaman officially announced her separation from Mujtaba Lakhani during a fan Q&A session, stating, “Yes, it’s over! I really don’t want to talk about it. It’s done now.”
The couple had married in February 2024 in a widely celebrated ceremony, and their wedding photos went viral on social media at the time. Trouble became visible when Aiman quietly deleted all her wedding photos and posts featuring Mujtaba from her Instagram.
However, Mujtaba’s response told a different story. He stated that the relationship had not legally ended yet, as no official paperwork had been completed, adding, “Who betrayed whom, only God knows.” He also pointed out that he had not received any Khula notice, meaning the marriage remains legally intact in his view. Unlike Aiman, he has kept all their photos on his social media.
The contrasting statements have left social media users divided, sparking heated discussions across different platforms. Some defended Aiman’s decision, while others voiced sympathy for Mujtaba. There were also criticisms of both for making private matters public while simultaneously asking for privacy from their audience.
