Pakistani actor, writer, and director Yasir Hussain recently made fans laugh with a very honest and funny confession, he will not be working with his wife, superstar Iqra Aziz, on screen again. His candid remark sparked a wave of amusement and admiration across social media.
Pakistani actor and director Yasir Hussain has left fans amused with his candid and humorous take on working alongside his wife, Iqra Aziz, revealing that he has no plans to repeat the experience. During a recent conversation, Yasir openly admitted that acting with his wife proved to be more challenging than expected. He shared that despite Iqra being an exceptionally talented actress, the dynamic of working together made things difficult.
According to Yasir, their collaboration in Ek Thi Laila happened at the request of the channel rather than his own preference. He further explained that his role in the project was a negative one, and following that, he continued to take on similar antagonistic characters, causing audiences to associate him with those roles in real life.
Yasir also noted a 10 to 11-year age gap between himself and Iqra. “I want her to work with actors her age. I don’t want her screen age to increase for no reason because of me,” he said.
Off-screen, Yasir Hussain and Iqra Aziz remain one of Pakistan’s most adored celebrity couples. The duo celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in December 2025, welcoming their son Kabir in 2021 and daughter Sophia in early 2026.
