Aurton Kay Beech Bolny Wala Mard Nahi, Fizza Ali Slams Yasir Nawaz

Pakistani television host Fizza Ali has intensified her criticism of actor-director Yasir Nawaz after he defended his wife, morning show host Nida Yasir, in an ongoing controversy about delivery riders.

The dispute began when Nida Yasir made controversial remarks on her show “Good Morning Pakistan,” claiming that delivery riders deliberately avoid carrying change to extract extra money from customers. She stated that she sends her driver to retrieve change, making riders wait and potentially affecting their subsequent deliveries.

Fizza Ali responded strongly, emphasizing that delivery riders work in dangerous conditions and late hours to make life easier for customers. She highlighted their struggles, noting they are often sole breadwinners for their families and deserve respect regardless of tipping practices.

When Yasir Nawaz entered the debate, he suggested in a recent interview with Nadia Khan that celebrities like Fizza Ali criticize others to remain relevant when they lack work. He humorously posted on Instagram, asking Fizza to “leave my innocent wife alone.”

Fizza Ali fired back, declaring that “a real man will never attack a woman” and emphasizing that the argument was between two women, making Yasir’s intervention inappropriate. She defended her right to call out what she considers wrong statements by public figures.

Though Nida Yasir has since apologized for her “choice of words” and clarified she didn’t mean to target all riders, the controversy continues. The debate has sparked broader discussions about celebrity accountability, workplace dignity, and the treatment of service workers in Pakistan’s gig economy.
