Christians Celebrate Christmas with Prayers Across Pakistan

Christians across Pakistan are celebrating Christmas with deep faith, joy, and traditional customs, joining millions of believers around the world in marking the birth of Jesus Christ. The day is being observed with special prayers, church services, and messages of peace, unity, and hope for the country.

From major cities to smaller towns, churches have been beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, lights, and banners. Worshippers gathered early in the morning to attend special prayer services, thanking God and praying for harmony, prosperity, and well being for all Pakistanis.

In Karachi, Christmas celebrations were held with great enthusiasm. Members of the Christian community attended special ceremonies in churches under tight security arrangements. St Patrick’s Church in Saddar was filled with worshippers who sang hymns, offered prayers, and exchanged greetings. Similar scenes were witnessed at churches in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and other cities.

Security was increased around churches nationwide to ensure peaceful celebrations. Law enforcement agencies remained on high alert, allowing families to celebrate the occasion without fear. Community leaders appreciated the efforts made to protect worshippers and maintain order.

Along with religious services, families shared festive meals, distributed sweets, and visited relatives and friends. Many Christians also used the occasion to spread messages of love, tolerance, and interfaith harmony, reflecting the true spirit of Christmas.

Political and religious leaders extended Christmas greetings to the Christian community, acknowledging their contributions to Pakistan’s development. Messages of unity and respect for all faiths were widely shared on social media.
