“Khuda Ke Liye Mai in Adakaron se Yehi Kahun Ga Ke Unko Nahin Karna Chahiye,” Yasir Hussain Requests Actresses to Not Endorse Fairness Creams

Pakistani actor and host Yasir Hussain made a strong and emotional appeal to actresses and celebrities during a live show in March 2026. He said: “Khuda ke liye mai in adakaron se yehi kahun ga ke unko nahin karna chahiye”.

Yasir was talking about famous actresses endorsing fairness creams and skin-whitening products. He explained that these ads make dark-skinned girls feel they are not beautiful or good enough.

He said many young women and girls watch TV and start hating their natural skin color because of these messages. Yasir called it wrong and harmful, especially when role models promote something that lowers self-confidence.

He asked actresses to think about the impact on society. He said true beauty is inside, in character, kindness, and good actions, not in skin color. Yasir added that Pakistan has so many beautiful women with different skin tones, and they should be proud of who they are.

He requested that stars stop taking money for fairness cream ads and choose better work that spreads positive messages. Some people also remembered how Yasir had spoken against colorism before and praised him for using his voice for good.

This issue is important because fairness creams are very common in Pakistan and South Asia. Many ads show dark skin as a problem that needs fixing.
