Pakistani drama fans have been waiting for this moment for five long years, and it is finally here. One of Pakistan’s most talented and beloved actresses, Minal Khan, has officially announced that she is returning to television screens. And the internet has completely lost its mind in the best possible way.
Minal Khan thrilled fans by announcing her long-awaited return to television after a five-year hiatus. The news sparked immediate excitement across social media, with fans flooding her comment sections with messages of joy and celebration. One fan wrote: “The wait is over! Finally Minuuu is back! It felt like something was missing without her presence. Now our screens feel complete again.”
Minal Khan began her acting career as a child artist in 2011 and rose to national fame through hit dramas including Hasad, Jalan, Nand and Ishq Hai. She married her Parchayee co-star Ahsan Mohsin Ikram in September 2021 and took a break from acting after marriage. The couple welcomed their son Muhammad Hasan Ikram in November 2023.
During her break, Minal had spoken honestly in several interviews about missing acting but prioritising her son during his earliest years. She had said openly: “I often ask myself if I should make a comeback. I always say yes because I want to manifest it, but right now, my son needs me the most. I miss acting and will definitely make a comeback.” She also revealed she would love to do a love story for her comeback, having already played a major negative role in Jalan.
Support poured in not only from fans but also from fellow actors and colleagues, all wishing her success, love and prayers for her upcoming projects.
Pakistan’s drama industry has many talented faces, but Minal Khan has always stood out. Welcome back, Minuuu. The screens truly missed you.
