The moment images of Emaan Fatima and baby Kivan holding the divorce notice surfaced online, Pakistan’s social media shattered into thousands of heartbroken and furious reactions, and rightfully so.
One user reminded everyone that Rajab himself had once publicly said he would not give a divorce while Emaan was pregnant, only to do exactly that shortly after. Another user called him the only person in the entire nation being cursed during the blessed month of Ramadan, praying that Allah opens Emaan’s naseeb and shows Rajab his consequences.

The most heartbreaking reaction came from a user who pointed out the painful timeline: Rajab missed Emaan’s first Eid after marriage while abroad, and now, just days before her second Eid, he has sent a divorce notice. Kivan’s very first Eid in this world, and his mother receives divorce papers.

Fans were equally shocked that Rajab’s friend Jhangir, a father of two daughters himself, appeared as a witness in the divorce notice.

The internet had only one question for him: Would you want a husband like Rajab for your own daughters?

Pakistan has spoken clearly, this is not just a viral controversy. This is a question of character, accountability, and the rights of a mother and her child.
