Pakistan Humesha Zindabad! Hackers Hacked Into Indian ABP News Channel

A group claiming to be Pakistani hackers broke into the official website and social media accounts of Indian news channel ABP News on March 2, 2026. They changed the homepage and posted messages saying “Pakistan Humesha Zindabad” along with the Pakistani flag and other patriotic slogans.

The hackers also shared screenshots showing they had access to the channel’s internal systems. They left short messages like “We are watching you” and “Stop spreading fake news about Pakistan.” The attack lasted for about 45 minutes before ABP News took its website offline and fixed the problem. Their YouTube channel and Twitter (X) account were also briefly taken over and showed similar content.

Social media in Pakistan lit up with excitement. Many people shared the screenshots and videos, writing “Well done” and “This is the answer to Indian propaganda.” Some called it a strong reply to fake news and anti-Pakistan reports on Indian channels. In India, people were angry and asked their government to take strict action against the hackers.

Cybersecurity experts say this kind of attack is not new. Both countries have seen website defacements and social media hacks during times of tension. Indian officials said they are investigating the matter and will find out who is behind it. They also warned that such actions can increase conflict between the two nations.

This incident shows how cyber attacks are now part of the bigger rivalry between Pakistan and India. While some see it as digital activism, others say it harms trust and peace. Both sides are now more careful with their online security. The event reminded everyone that words and actions online can quickly become big news and affect relations between countries.
