Pakistanis Celebrating Quaid-e-Azam’s 149th Birth Anniversary with Patriotic Zeal

Pakistanis across the country marked the 149th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with deep respect, pride, and patriotic enthusiasm. The day was observed with special prayers, official ceremonies, and renewed pledges to follow the principles laid down by the founder of the nation.

The celebrations began with a 31 gun salute in the federal capital and 21 gun salutes in provincial capitals. A change of guard ceremony was held at Mazar e Quaid in Karachi, where contingents from the armed forces paid tribute to the Father of the Nation. Political leaders, diplomats, and citizens laid floral wreaths and offered Fateha.

In messages issued on the occasion, national leaders highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of a democratic, progressive, and inclusive Pakistan. They emphasized his guiding principles of unity, faith, and discipline as essential for overcoming the country’s current challenges.

Educational institutions across Pakistan organized seminars, debates, and speech competitions to educate the younger generation about Quaid-e-Azam’s life, leadership, and struggle for independence. Special programs were also aired on television and radio to reflect on his contributions to the creation of Pakistan.

Mosques across the country offered special prayers for national unity, peace, and prosperity. Citizens shared messages, quotes, and images of Quaid-e-Azam on social media, expressing pride in Pakistan’s history and identity.
