Pakistani TikTok star and content creator Sami Rasheed made headlines with a deeply personal and emotional statement about his daughter Airah following his divorce from social media star Sehar Hayat, one of Pakistan’s most talked-about influencer separations.
Sehar Hayat is one of the most followed Pakistani digital creators. Their viral wedding in 2023 put the couple in the limelight, as it was a lavish affair attended by numerous social media celebrities. The couple welcomed their first child in 2024, but soon after the birth, they developed differences, followed by a divorce in September 2025.
After the divorce, Sami Rasheed accused Sehar publicly of forcefully obtaining khula from him. Sehar later admitted she took khula, sharing that Sami had been abusive, financially exploitative, and was bringing up her past in conversations, which she found deeply disrespectful.
In a heartfelt response, Sami Rasheed addressed the public, stating that as long as his daughter remained with him, every single expense was borne by him as her father, and that if a mother also contributes financially to her child, her right should extend to her husband and daughter, not just her own family.
Sami Rasheed expressed sadness, saying it had been a month since he had seen his daughter and that he only got to see her through vlogs. He added that he never wanted the relationship to end.
The entire situation has left millions of fans heartbroken for baby Airah, caught between two people who once represented Pakistan’s most beloved online couple.
