Pakistani TikTok influencer Sehar Hayat has opened up about a deeply personal clash with her former husband, Sami Rasheed, that she says became a turning point in their troubled marriage. Speaking candidly, Sehar disclosed that the heated incident took place during their daughter Airah’s birthday celebration, an occasion that should have been joyful.
According to Sehar, she simply wanted to create a meaningful family memory by cutting the cake alongside her own parents. The request, she says, was not only dismissed but met with hostility.
Rather than handling the disagreement privately, Sami chose to respond with disrespect and verbal aggression in front of guests and family members, an act Sehar described as deeply humiliating.
Sami, however, later presented a different narrative, claiming the argument arose because Sehar wanted him to ask his own parents off the stage during the birthday party, which he viewed as unreasonable.
The conflicting accounts have left social media divided. Many followers sided with Sehar, pointing out that no woman should face public disrespect regardless of the dispute. Others suggested both sides contributed to the breakdown.
Sehar later confirmed through Instagram that she had sought khula, citing a pattern of verbal threats and mistreatment that extended well beyond this single incident.
