YouTuber and co-host Muhammad Shiraz (known from Shirazi Vlogs) shared a touching and emotional message as Shan-e-Ramzan 2026 kicked off on ARY Digital. In a heartfelt Instagram post and reel, he said: “This year is not the same… We remember and pray for our dear friend Umar Shah, who was part of this transmission last year. You will always remain in our hearts and duas.”
The words captured the heavy feeling on the set without little Umer Shah, the 15-year-old child star who passed away tragically on September 15, 2025, from cardiac arrest caused by fluid entering his lungs after vomiting.
Umer, younger brother of viral sensation Ahmed Shah, was a beloved regular on ARY Digital’s Ramzan shows and Jeeto Pakistan. His innocent charm, cute poems, and joyful presence made him a fan favorite during past holy months.
Muhammad Shiraz, who co-hosts alongside Ahmed Shah and others, expressed how the transmission feels empty this year. He confirmed his return to Karachi for the show but highlighted the grief of missing Umer, who lit up the screen with his smiles and energy. Fans responded with floods of prayers, comments like “Inna Lillahi… Umer’s absence hurts” and “Shan-e-Ramzan won’t be the same without him.”
The tribute echoes similar emotions from host Waseem Badami, who also got teary remembering Umer during the premiere. Shiraz’s post reminds everyone of Umer’s lasting impact, turning a joyful Ramzan tradition into a moment of remembrance, dua, and healing for the team and millions of viewers.
