In a surprising and exciting development, Pakistan’s rising boxing star Usman Wazir has revealed that he is personally training popular actress Hania Amir in the sport of boxing. This unique collaboration between Pakistan’s entertainment and sports worlds has created a massive buzz on social media.
In a recent interview with a private TV channel, Wazir confirmed that he has been training Hania Amir regularly and is impressed with her progress. He described her as a natural fighter, adding that she is quickly developing the skills required for competitive boxing and could soon make her debut in the ring.
Hailing from Astore in Gilgit-Baltistan, Wazir’s journey in sports began with football before he transitioned to boxing in 2015. Since turning professional in 2019, Wazeer has claimed several regional and international titles, including the WBC Middle East, WBO World Youth, and WBA Asia Welterweight belts. His victories have come against fighters from countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Tanzania, and Malaysia.
Carrying a flawless professional record of 17 wins from 17 fights, including 12 knockouts, Wazir has firmly established himself as Pakistan’s most exciting unbeaten boxing talent.
During the interview, former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi also joined the conversation and praised Wazir’s performances, congratulating the young boxer and acknowledging his growing impact in the sport.
