Pakistani family vlogger Rajab Butt has dropped one of the most shocking confessions in Pakistani social media history, openly admitting in a podcast that he cheated on his wife Emaan Fatima, and then casually mentioning that he gifted her an expensive iPhone 17 as an apology. The internet’s reaction has been swift, fierce, and unanimous; nobody is impressed.
Rajab Butt himself admitted in a statement that he cheated on his wife. He said he had publicly apologised for the act and that Emaan Fatima had forgiven him. He also said he could not understand why she forgave him, and then claimed that, despite forgiving him, his wife also accepted an iPhone 17 from him as part of the reconciliation.
The controversy had been building for months. The scandal first exploded when Rajab’s Snapchat account was allegedly hacked, releasing damaging content including his alleged involvement with influencer Zahra Malik while Emaan was pregnant. Emaan’s brother later went live on TikTok, sharing troubling details about how his sister had been treated, details that sparked outrage across social media.
A vlog also surfaced showing Rajab’s sister shopping for lavish apology gifts on his instructions, including an expensive cake, red roses, perfume, a watch, and a dress, with Rajab repeatedly instructing her to buy only expensive items.
His remarks drew fierce criticism online. Pakistani actress Kiran Ashfaque publicly condemned his actions, saying she had never seen a worse person, while social media users expressed deep sympathy for Emaan Fatima and many described the behaviour as morally and religiously unacceptable.
Rajab also issued what he called a final warning to Emaan’s brother, accusing him of seeking controversy after gaining recent fame and threatening to publicly expose those who continue to attack him.
