YouTuber Rajab Butt’s Parents Have Given Their Approval For His Divorce With Emaan Asad

As the Rajab Butt and Emaan Asad divorce saga continues to dominate Pakistan’s social media, a fresh and deeply significant development has now emerged. Reports indicate that Rajab Butt’s parents have given their full approval for their son’s divorce, playing a central role in the breakdown of this marriage.

Rajab Butt said clearly that he cannot prioritise a one-year marriage over parents who have been with him for 30 years, a statement that revealed just how central the family conflict was in driving the couple apart.

Rajab stated that he would not make further efforts towards reconciliation because he does not want to maintain a marriage based on hypocrisy. He added that family tensions escalated significantly after allegations were made against his mother, and that private messages related to the matter could not be publicly disclosed.

The parental approval angle has left people across Pakistan deeply divided. Many believe that parents should always try to save a marriage, especially when a baby is involved. Others argue that when family differences run this deep, no marriage can survive without both families being genuinely supportive.

The divorce notice stated that the couple initially lived together peacefully but later developed big differences and incompatibility, leading to frequent disputes. Family members and friends attempted reconciliation, but their efforts were unsuccessful.

Rajab admitted that bringing his personal marriage issues onto social media was a mistake and that it only made everything more complicated. He acknowledged that the issue should have been handled through proper legal and Islamic channels from the very beginning.

Through all of this, the person who has said the least and suffered the most remains Emaan, a new mother sitting alone with baby Keyvan Sultan, waiting for a resolution that respects her dignity and her child’s future.
